Our Community

The Club welcomes family members to watch training sessions and pick up tips. We also support the attendance of children and promote child friendly approaches to dog handling. However it should be remembered that this is a training club and parents/carers are requested to make sure children are kept under control at all times to ensure the comfort and safety of all members.

As well as a dog training club, Edmonton BAGSD endorses outside activities such as sponsored walks, Club Presentation evenings, Dog Christmas Party and Summer BBQ. Please support these activities – this is your club and your input is welcomed.

A club Committee is elected at the AGM held in February each year. The Secretary Jean Houghton and Treasurer Amanda King are validated by BAGSD Head Office. The Committee meets on a regular basis to ensure the smooth running of the club. Instructors also meet on a frequent basis to discuss training methods and handlers needs and progress.
